Markus Hongler joins the board of directors of Evorest.

Evorest announces the appointment of Markus Hongler to its board of directors.

Markus Hongler is a professional board member, including his role as chairman of the board of directors of the Luzerner Kantonalbank. Markus has decades of experience in leadership positions in the Swiss insurance and banking industry. He acted as CEO of Mobiliar from 2011-2020 and held multiple leadership roles with Zurich Insurance. Through his appointment, Markus will support Evorest in its efforts to revolutionize the rental deposit market.

Markus Hongler joins the Evorest board consisting of chairman Philipp Schülin, Managing Director at Afinum Management AG as well as Angelo Candreia, Managing Director and Partner in BCG’s insurance practice in Zurich.

The leadership team of Evorest is very excited to welcome Markus on its board of directors. Markus brings extensive experience in go-to-market and growth strategies within the Swiss financial and insurance market. The team is looking forward to work closely together in the upcoming years and jointly scale Evorest.

Markus Hongler was CEO of Mobiliar from 2011 to 2020 and Vice President of the Scout 24 Group from 2016 to 2020. Prior, he worked for Zurich Insurance in Switzerland and Europe for three decades. He is currently also the chairman of the board of directors of the Luzerner Kantonalbank (LUKB) and the Lucerne Festival.
